For this vase, Niels Römer has drawn inspiration from the submerged part of a ball-shaped bouquet of flowers, focusing on the intertwined stems with perfect symmetry : in this way he renders the « invisible part of the iceberg » artistically visible to our imagination. With the subtle choice of matt-finish enamelled porcelain and enlightening purity, he leads us to suggestions for other possible sources of inspiration while the vase remains unfilled : a very attractive Caribbean shell, or more artistically, the motion of the tulle tutu of Degas’ little dancer…
